2007iET Solutions releases iET ITSM 4.1, which includes Availability Management. Shortly after the release, Pink Elephant, a global leader in ITIL education and consulting, confirms that iET ITSM 4.1 meets the minimum functional criteria for seven ITIL processes. iET ITSM is included in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for the IT Service Desk, receiving high marks on price competitiveness; ease of implementation and configuration; and strong customer support and focus. iET ITSM 4.1 also receives a positive review from the Butler Group. Vast improvements are made to the company's core technology platform, including laying the foundation for supporting the Microsoft® .NET Framework.
2006
iET Solutions launches its fourth generation iET ITSM. iET ITSM 4.0 offers enhanced front-office service desk functions tightly integrated with back-office functions such as release, configuration and change management to empower IT managers to be more proactive with their service management infrastructure. iET ITSM 4.0 provides the industry’s most comprehensive approach to achieving the full benefits of implementing the ITIL framework and proactive IT service delivery and support. 2005
iET Solutions launches a comprehensive Configuration Management Database (CMDB) suite. iET CMDB Discovery & Intelligence provide the capability to automatically gather all information about the IT infrastructure to fill the CMDB and keep it actual and accurate over time. An intelligent interface provides business processes that reconcile differences between the CMDB and the live infrastructure. The iET Solutions CMDB suite delivers full configuration, discovery, and relationship information in a federated manner.

iET Solutions expands its product line, adding Process Analyzer to the iET solutions suite.
2003
Platinum Equity acquires the CRM-business of Applix Inc and establishes iET Solutions. Headquartered in Framingham, MA, iET Solutions has global locations in Germany, Great Britain and North America.
2001
Applix focuses on its CRM and service management solutions. The UNIX product line was sold.
2000
Applix integrates analytical capabilities and offers a complete set of CRM solutions for analytical, collaborative and interactive CRM.
1998/1999
Applix establishes itself as one of the leading vendors for Service Management and CRM solutions.
1997
Applix hits the CRM market with a complete solution set for helpdesk, customer service and sales & marketing.
Michael Scheib establishes the EMEA headquarters in Munich and is vice president of the European operations. He also serves as executive officer for Applix, Inc.
1996
Applix Inc. expands its solutions set by acquiring Sinper TM1 Corporation, a vendor of multidimensional OLAP-software.
1995
Applix, Inc. acquires Target Systems, a US based vendor of helpdesk solutions.
1993
Michael Scheib establishes the Applix GmbH in Munich and manages the German operation.
1983
Applix, Inc. is founded by Jit Saxena in Westboro, MA, USA. The company develops software applications for the UNIX market.
