Our graphical interface to the CMDB makes it easy to visualize the relationships between configuration items and graphically displays the incidents, problems, changes, and releases that are connected to a CI. This graphical representation provides more accurate problem diagnoses as well as the ability to more effectively plan changes by visualizing their impact on the entire organization.

The iET Solutions CMDB Suite

iET Solutions' CMDB suite delivers full configuration, discovery, and relationship information in a federated manner. Our Configuration Management fully supports ITIL and CMDB standards, allowing you to take advantage of best practices to monitor and control your IT infrastructure components enterprise-wide. Our CMDB suite consists of two components:

• iET CMDB Discovery:
  A high powered agent-less asset discovery and inventory tool that is connected to the CMDB. iET CMDB Discovery dynamically queries configuration items across your network to identify all configuration items on the network and verify their current state and connections. Standard interfaces are provided for Tivoli, InControl, Centennial, and others by the Configuration Management.
  
  
• iET CMDB Intelligence:
  A standard interface that provides full configuration, discovery, and relationship information in a federated manner, putting in place business processes to reconcile differences between the CMDB (as provided by the iET ITSM tool) and the live infrastructure. iET CMDB Intelligence supports all the common data reconciliation and incident management scenarios, and provides out-of-the-box integration to multiple asset inventory tools.
